During a meeting with the Head of the regional Department of Health the Mayoress of Calasparra has once again and with urgency demanded more staff for the local Emergency Services.
Teresa Garcia also urged the representative of the regional Health Department, María Eulalia García, to create a space for the pediatric service at the Medical Centre in the garden area in order to separate from other specialities.
Other historic demands, repeated yesterday by the Mayoress, were the creation of a Primary Care Emergency Service and more doctors and nurses during the afternoons, weekends and holidays. These demands have been repeated on numerous occasions by the Town Hall and have been accompanied by protests by local residents supporting an increase in personel.
Finally, the Mayoress asked the region to look after and maintain gardens and the Medical Centre building.
