Representatives
from Calasparra attended the II Day of the Formation of Child Friendly Cities
of UNICEF held on Tuesday in Ancantarilla and organised by the local Authority,
the Federation of Municipal Areas of Murcia and the Murcia UNICEF Committee.
The area representative on the National Committee of the Child Friendly Cities
of UNICEF was present at the meeting.
The Head of the Department of Culture and Education in Calasparra, Teresa
Garcia, spoke about her experiences in the local area, which has gained the recognition
of UNICEF as a Child Friendly town.
