Calasparra and the Medical Centre have paid tribute to local nurse, José Antonio Torres, who died from Covid-19.
José Antonio Torres Alemán, a nurse who formed part of the staff at the Medical Centre for different periods over seven years, died on December 4 as a consequence of Covid-19.
The Medical Centre has underlined “the profound impression” left by José Antonio Torres.
A minute´s silence was observed by staff at the door of the Medical Centre in his memory and remembering all the medical staff affected by the virus.
The staff have decided that the new Multiple Use Room at the local Medical Centre will bear his name as a lasting tribute.
