The Mayoress Teresa Garcia, has signed a protocol which incorporates Calasparra in the regional network of Quality Tourist Destinations.
Yesterday she met the Head of the regional Department of Tourism, Youth and Sports, Cristina Sanchez, at the Puerta Cave, to sign the agreement which underlines Calasparra´s status as one of 23 “quality” tourist destinations in the region.
The Mayoress said Calasparra aimed to deliver top quality tourism and pointed out that the local Tourist Office had already attained the stamp of quality IS09001.
The Murcia region is fourth in the list of regions with the most municipal areas which have signed the protocol: The Integral System of Quality Tourist Destinations.
