Although the Murcia region has one of the lowest rates of contagion for Covid-19 in Spain the numbers keep rising putting pressure on the primary health care and hospitals and intensive care units.
The regional Covid-10 Monitoring Committee has taken the following decisions:
Calasparra has been put on medium high alert and the capacity permitted inside bars and restaurants is limited to 50%.
Also on medium high alert are Abanilla, Albudeite, Alguazas, Bullas, Campos del Río, Ceutí, Cieza, Lorca, Moratalla and Puerto Lumbreras.
As reported yesterday the sale of alcohol is banned between 10pm and 6am unless sold in a bar or restaurant and social meetings, in private and public, are reduced to 10 people who are not from the same household.
Abarán, Aguilas, Alcantarilla, Los Alcazares, Aledo, Alhama, Archena, Beniel, Blanca, Caravaca, Cartagena, Fortuna, Fuente Alamo, Jumilla, Librilla, Lorquí, Mazarron, Molina, Mula, Murcia, Pliego, San Javier, San Pedro, Santomera, Torre Pacheco, Torres de Cotillas, Totana, Ulea, La Unión, Villanueva del Segura and Yecla have 30% limits on capacity of the interior of bars and restaurants as they are on high alert for the virus.
