GH Seguridad Calasparra FC lost in their semi final match in the President´s Cup to Deportivo Murcia and just missed their chance to qualify for the national competition, the King´s Cup (la Copa del Rey).
After a magnificent season the local team was promoted for the second season running and reached the semi finals of the President´s Cup.
Deportivo Murcia, who beat Calasparra 9-2 in the semi final, went on to win the President´s Cup and qualify for the Copa del Rey.
So near yet so far!! Our congratulations to GH Seguridad Calasparra for their fantastic effort and incredible accomplishments!
