Calasparra Town Hall was represented by local councillor, Antonio Jose Merino, Head of Social Services and the Youth Department, at the first meeting dedicated to developing a new Drug Dependency Plan for the North West region of Murcia.
The aim of the event was principally to train and support front line who work with drug dependents, such as local police, social workers, youth workers etc. and to coordinate work throughout the area.
A Work Group, consisting of professionals from all sectors, which will work on priorities over the next five years, was formed at the meeting.
