The mobile Covid testing station, set up in Calasparra yesterday, registered 19 positive results out of 580 tests and vaccinated six people.
During the afternoon and early evening queues of people waiting to be tested could be seen in the municipal parking area in central Calasparra.
Regionally, 2.081 first vaccinations were administered in 27 municipal areas and 16,537 tests were carried out. Some 792 of the tests were positive.
The test stations were manned by 300 health professionals and, in Calasparrra, a familiar face was seen: the former Mayor of Calasparra and nurse, Jesus Navarro.
