CALASPARRA: 98.32 PERCENT VISIBILITY OF ECLIPSE

Calasparra will have nearly 100 percent visibility on the night of the first solar eclipse of the century on August 12.
The eclipse will start at 7.40 pm and finish at 9.03pm reaching its peak at 8.35pm.
The moon will pass infront of the sun producing a halo and finally the sky will turn darker than ever due to the new moon leading to the second spectacle of the night: a shower of shooting stars, possibly 200 per hour.
The Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and the ONCE Social Group have launched a campaign to protect the sight of those watching the eclipse. They will distribute free of charge millions of safety glasses.
Editors Note
As soon as we have more information about how to get your free safety glasses we will publish in Nexonr before the date of the eclipse.
