Local autor and financial and legal constultant, Fulgencio Caballero, presented his new book at the Municpal Auditorium on Saturday when a queue of local people waited for him to sign their copies.
The autor, known as Pencho, was the runner up for the national literary prize, the Planet, in 2010 with his first novel, The Box of Quinces.
His new novel, In the Shadow of the Black Angel, is set in the Morrocan War of 1909 to 1927, and is available now in bookshops.
The Mayor of Calasparra, José Vélez, was amongst the speakers at the presentation.
