The Covid-19 Tracing Committee has announced that in 37 municipal areas, including Calasparra, from Wednesday, bar and restaurant terraces may open at 100% and the interiors may open to a 30% capacity.
A maximum of four people, who are not from the same household, may sit together on a terrace and a maximum of two, not from the same household, may sit together inside a bar or restaurant.
No eating or drinking at the bar is permitted.
Calasparra maintains the “Medium/High Risk” status and all the other restrictions remain in place including the curfew and the closure of the regional perimeter.
Eight municipal areas, where Covid.19 numbers have increased, are on “Extreme alert” and the interiors of bars and restaurants remain closed although terraces are allowed to open. They are Alhama, Ulea, Abarán, Caravaca, Ceutí, Fuente Álamo, Puerto Lumbreras and Torre Pacheco
The “risk” in the region has passed from Phase 2 to Phase 1 as the average number of patients in hospital with the virus has fallen to less than 400 in the last few days and there are less than 85 to 100 people in intensive care (80 currently).
There were no new cases diagnosed in Calasparra in the last 24 hours and the number of active cases has fallen to six.
