Last night the local police arrested a resident of Calasparra for the alleged offences of puncturing tyres and damaging 15 vehicles in the municipal area.
The investigation began last November when various vehicles in the town centre had their tyres punctured.
As a result of information from local residents, footage from security cameras and the evidence collected over the past few months officers detained the suspect who was carrying a knife and had allegedly damaged three vehicles in the local area earlier in the evening.,
This brings to an end a period of social alarm in Calasparra, according to local police.
