The governing Socialist group of Calasparra has appealed to the regional government to improve primary health facilities in Calasparra and the region.
The proposals include Antigen tests, an auxiliary assistant and an increase in the number of telephone lines at the local Medical Centre plus the employment of sufficient trackers (for Covid-19 contacts).
The PSOE underline that auxliary assitants at the region´s medical centres would release medical staff from bureaucratic duties.
They also call for bureaucracy to be simplified..
The World Health Organization recommends one tracker per 5,000 inhabitants. The PSOE claims the employment of sufficient trackers would relieve medical staff of these duties and provide more patient care time.
They also recommend the employment of 140 GPs, 240 nursing posts and 71 social work places to increase staffing at the region´s medical centres.
