The Medical Centre in Calasparra has organised a week of activities as part of the Anti-Smoking Campaign, the II Week Without Smoke (II Semana Sin Humo) from May 29 to June 2.

Today is the Inernational Day Without Tobacco and the Department of Health has issued a message of encouragement to urge the population to give up smoking.
One of the intiatives is to introduce audo visual anti smoking materials in all Primary Attention Medical Facilities and Hospitals and to encourage local Medical Centres to offer anti smoking treatments and to promote the resources available to those who want to give up smoking.
