Aemet, the Met Office, has extended the Yellow Weather Warning for today, Wednesday September 16, to cover tomorrow Thursday September 17, for torrential rain and storms.
The warning covers the entire Murcia region, including the North West that includes Calasparra, and runs from 3pm to 8pm tomorrow.
Some 15 litres of rain per square metre are predicted and storms with hailstones.
Readers are advised to take the usual precautions.
