Calasparrian, Adrian Ruiz de Magdalena, has been chosen as ambassador for Spain at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires by the Spanish Olympic Committee and UCAM.
Through the Young Change Makers Programme, created by the International Olympic Committee, young people are identified from different countries where they have been involved in a sports project which has benefitted the local community.
Calasparra Town Hall has already congratulated the youngster and wished him the best of luck in his new role in the games which finish on October 20.
