The Town Hall has organised a programme of activitites for next week as part of the Campaign to Prevent Domestic Violence. The symbol of the week will be a purple ribbon.
Many of the activities will take place in local schools but these are the public events:
Wednesday November 25
Plaza de la Corredera
7pm Lighting candles in the form of a bow
Demonstration with people forming a bow.
7.30pm The Manifesto will be read.
Saturday November 28
10am to 1pm
Self Defence Class for Women in the Sports Pavillion
Sunday November 29
Plaza e la Corredera
9.30am March Against Domestic Violence
