The number of people in the region affected by Covid-19 has been rising gradually over the past week and today the regional health authority reports a 300% rise in the number of cases of the virus in the last seven days.
Sadly, one 54 year old man has died from the virus in the past 24 hours.
There were no new cases diagnosed in Calasparra in the last 24 hours. There are currently eight active cases.
