The organised walking programme organised by the Town Hall, will start on Sunday September 25 with the traditional pilgrimage to the top of San Miguel.
The walk starts at 9am from the Plaza de la Corredera. It is rated médium difficulty, is approximately 9 k long and takes about three hours.
If you haven´t taken part before this is a grand opportunity to integrate with the people of Calasparra, young and old.
There are various routes up San Miguel so you don´t need to start from the main square…..you can simply turn up at the foot of San Miguel and follow the crowd.
Summiting this emblematic hill provides a rare 360 degree panoramic view of the town and surrounds.
