The Ecoparque, also known as the Punto Limpio, will pick up bulky rubbish like furniture, old electrical domestic ítems such as fridges, and even rubble: help is just a phone call away!
Residents are reminded there is no excuse for dumping large ítems of rubbish or rubble in the countryside.
The Town Hall has also started a new service for the shops and businesses of Calasparra whereby every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday there will be a special collection of cardboard and packaging, free of charge.
The Mayor of Calasparra reminds us of the “Keep Calasparra Clean” campaign and urges residents to recycle and to respect the hours and days for putting rubbish in the containers.
He also addresses dog owners who permit their pets to foul the pavements.
“The answer is not to fine people but to raise awareness amongst dog owners,” he says.
