During a meeting between the Mayor of Calasparra, José Vélez, and the Government Delegate of Murcia, Antonio Sánchez Solís, it seems the three pieces of space debris found in Calasparra will be returned to the area and exhibited to the public.
During the meeting the Government Delegate commented that he could see “no reason” why the debris could not be returned to Calasparra once investigations were complete.
The Mayor also complained about the lack of communication between the two departments when the second piece of space debris was found.
Another topic discussed at the meeting was a possible increase in the number of Guardia Civil officers stationed in the municipal area.
