Due to the 9.7 litres of rainfall per square metre in Calasparra over the weekend open air events in the area have been canclled.
The archeological route, a date on the municipal walking calendar scheduled for Sunday, was cancelled and as yet no new date has been set.
The return of the statue of Ecce Homo to the hermitage on the Valentin Road and the open air mass, the final event on the Easter calender, was also cancelled due to inclement weather.
In Valentin the “Rociero” Day, also to be held on Sunday, was cancelled by the Fiestas Commission of Valentin.
