This morning ( Saturday ) we got the sad news that Dave Richards had died of a heart attack yesterday. To those of you here in Calasparra who knew Dave and Charmaine, you like me will remember a kind, generous and funny man who always enjoyed his holidays here in his villa.
Dave had some great parties at his house which was always lit up like Blackpool tower.
Although not able to speak a word of Spanish Dave made lots of Spanish friends at the fiestas just because of his personality.
I will miss him very much and my heart goes out to his family. I’m glad I knew him and I’m glad he was my friend.
