A worker has been repeatedly clubbed in the SEF Office in Calasparra by a customer who had been refused unemployment benefit last.
The assault happened mid morning last Tuesday after an unemployed Calasparrian man of 30 years was told his application for unemployment benefit had been refused.
The assailant,obviously angry and frustrated, left the SEF office after being told he did not have the necessary requirements to draw unemployment benefit but half an hour later he returned with a club, whihc he used to hit the worker.
Other workers at the SEF Office came to their colleagues aid and immoblized the attacker until the local police arrived.
The victim was taken to hospital where he remains under observation.
The attacker was arrested and appeared before magistrates in Caravaca. He faces assault charges.
