Today, Thursday, the region of Murcia has been put on yellow alert for strong winds which could reach speeds of up to 70 kph.
The winds, which started gusting at 5am this morning, are expected to continue through until late tonight. Radio Calasparra has warned residents “to stay off the streets” where there could be flying debris and they could find themselves in “dangerous situations.”
Tomorrow the weather should improve, with lighter winds and sun but it will still feel cold.
The forecast for the weekend and early next week remains fair with temperatures rising to 20 degrees centigrade.
