Although the new parish priest has already assumed some of his duties in Calasparra he does not offically take over the role until this Sunday after a special mass in St Peter´s Church.
Manuel Martinez Rosique, pictured here, takes over as parish priest from Julian Marin Torrecilla who has taken up missionary work at his own request after 11 years in Calasparra.
The mass will be at 11am in St Peter´s Church on Sunday October 5.
