Following the devastating storms and floods in Calasparra last year the Mayor of Calasparra, Jesus Navarro, has announced an investment of 279,195 euros in public infrastructures.
Among the projects are repairs to the access road to the Castle; repairs to primary schools; repairs and improvements to storm drains, guttering and manhole covers; repairs to the sewerage system in areas of the Daya, Correas, Huerto and the Industrial Estate; repairs to the burst sewer in Esparragal; and repairs to the access road to the sewerage plant.
This investment is 50% financed financed by the Ministry of Housing and Public Administration and 50% by the local Town Hall. The work is expected to be carried out in the next few months.
