A day in the mountains replanting trees and shrubs at the Cabezo Negro and on the banks of the river Argos was the order of the day for primary and secondary school pupils yesterday.
The reforestation exercise forms part of the Municipal Health Education which aims to cultívate social abilities; responsable consumers; leisure activities, and respect for the environment.
Some 200 pupils took part during the day whhc was “very positive” according to the Head of the local Education Department, Maria Dolores Gomariz.
