As Calasparra grows from a small village to a small town the roads are becoming increasingly more dangerous, especially for cyclists and pedestrians.
Learning the basics of road safety at an early age has been put on the local agenda by the Department of Traffic with a special course next week led by the local police.
During the next few weeks the local police will take the Road Safety Campaign to all local primary schools and has called on parents to service their children´s bikes and reminded them helmets are obligatory for the course.
