The news, distributed on Twitter, that Calasparra had been eliminated from the national television competition to find the «Most Fun Town in Spain» has turned out to be incorrect.
The local Town Hall made enquiries at the television station and discovered that both Blanca and Calasparra had been selected as regional entries for the competition rather than just Blanca.
This is good news fore the clubs, associations and members of the public who crowded into the Plaza de la Corrdera for Calasparra´s video entry for the competition last month.
