The Mayor of Calasparra, Jesus Navarro, was one of more than 200 guests who attended the official opening of the Los Lomas restaurant, now renamed The George, last night in Calasparra.
New hosts, Melanie and Paul, offered a free drinks, live music and a buffet to celebrate new management at this emblematic restaurant in the mountains near the Sanctuary.
The George is now open for English breakfasts, a lunchtime menu of British standards such as burgers and lasagna and an a La Carte menu for the evenings. From July 28 there will be a Sunday roasts from the Carvery.
