There were 82 less people on the unemployment lists in Calasparra in June as numbers drop from 1,157 in May to 1,075. The biggest drop in unemployment was registered in the service industries and the biggest rise in agriculture.
While the figures have been broadly welcomed the Public Employment Services has issued a note of caution claiming that many unemployed people have simply stopped signing on.
