Torrential rain led to the cancellation of the Book Fiesta last Sunday and a new date has not been set.
Some 23 litres of water fell per square metre in Calasparra over the weekend and 18 of those fell on Sunday when special activities had been planned in the Plaza de la Corredera to mark International Book Day.
