After almost nine months of drought the continuous rain over the last few days is good news for farmers and small holders but has converted the land into a quagmire of mud.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to get onto the land to pick our fresh vegetables for Friday’s market and reluctantly the ecological stall will not be in its usual place this week.
The rain is likely to continue through today and Friday although the predictions for the weekend are for cloud and sunshine. The first part of next week should be sunny but the weather is likely to deteriorate by the end of next week.
