RYANAIR REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION IN SPAIN

San Javier will lose 10 of the current 17 destinations if Ryanair loses its licence as a consequence of the “incidents” during the last few months, according to AESA the State Agency for Air Security.
The agency maintains an “investigation open” into the activities of the budget airline and will report the results to European Commission and the European Agency for Air Security.
Yesterday an aircraft on the Ryanair route London to Brataslava made an emergency landing at Berlin for motives that “remain under clarification.”
Two weeks ago a flight from London to San Javier was forced to return to Stansted where passengers changed plane. The delay obliged the flight to divert to Alicante as it arrived outside the operating times of San Javier airport.
Ryanair flies to 10 destinations in Europe from Murcia including Ireland and Great Britain although Jet2 and Easyjet also cover these routes.
During 2011 some 1,265,000 travelers passed through San Javier airport. More than 80% of these passengers used international flights.
