The local basketball club took to the streets of the town on Saturday to give young people to take part and particularly to encourage young girls to take up the sport.
The Municipal Basketball School set up the sport in various sites on Gran Via where youngsters could try out their best shots.
“The objective of the day is nothing more than to give youngsters a chance to get to know basketball and maintain the sport as part of the Sports School,” said Ricardo Garcia, Coordinator.
He confirmed that there would also be a senior basketball team this year.
