AEMET, the Met Office has issued a Yellow Weather Warning for storms today, Wednesday August 12 and Thursday 13 for the North West region of Murcia that includes Calasparra.
The warning runs from 2pm until 8pm today, Wednesday August 13 and from 1pm to 9pm tomorrow.
The Met Office predicts storms with up to 20ml of rain per hour with hail. The Local Police have issued a recommendation not to go out or work outside during the central hours of the day when the heat is at its worst.
Temperatures are expected to reach the high 30’s centigrade today and tomorrow.
