The new MABS Cancer Support Charity Shop will open in the Gran Via, Calasparra at 11am on May 5.
The shop is situated in the old SEF premises.
MABS supports those with cancer and their families providing vital practical and psychological assistance to people affected.
MABS provides a wide range of services ranging from accompanying patients and providing transport for hospital appointments to support within the home and/or providing accomodation for families while a family member is receiving treatment.
These services are costly and, up until now, MABS has raised funds through charity events such as the Coffee Morning, social events, donations and, of course, their stall on the Friday Market in Calasparra.
The Charity Shop, is a new initiative in Calasparra, both MABS and for Calasparra, as it is the first of its kind.
Readers are asked to donate books, household items etc to ensure MABS has a wide variety of goods on sale and come to the official opening and support this magnificent local charity.
