Calasparra Town Hall has reinforced the security of the area with a new 4×4 vehicle and the introduction of a drone for the Local Police.
The new vehicle incorporated into the fleet of the Local Police is especially designed for rural patrols and interventions in areas of poor access in rural areas as well as emergencies and problems caused by adverse weather conditions. It has a winch, a heavy load capacity and is equipped to transport material, assist people and undertake rescues, thus notably improving the operating cacacity of the local police force.
The Mayoress of Calasparra, Teresa Garcia, and the Head of the Local Police, Miguel Ángel Martínez, joined members of the local government team, police officers and the Civil Protection, to present the new vehicle and demonstrate the drone in the Plaza Emilio Perez Piñero this morning.
