Early this morning the emergency services forming part of the Plan Infomur, that fights against forest fires in the Murcia region, attended a fire in La Serratilla area of the Sierra del Molino.
The fire, that ocurred close to population of Calasparra and near the road, was reported by the Local Police at 4.52am and who worked to put it out with fire extinguishers.
Subseqently, fire fighters and environmental offices attended the scene and reported the fire as extinguished at 5.45am.

A few square metres of dry grass close to some pines was affected by the fire which was rapidly extinguished.
Calasparra is one of the areas that remains on «extreme high alert» for the risk of fire due to the high temperatures. Residents are asked to take every precaution to avoid another unnatural disaster in our area as a further rise in temperatures is predicted over the next few days.
