The national strike by doctors yesterday, Friday June 13, paralysed many medical services in the region including hospital specialists, operations and many other services including the local Medical Centre.
A minimum service for emergencies was established in all hospitals and medical centres.
The doctors called the strike as a protest against the changes to working days and conditions announce by the Government the previous day.
