A mass was said in honour of Our Lady of Hope from the Sanctuary, in Calle German Galindo, as part of the May programme of religious events.
The parish of St Peter´s Church and the organizing commitee of the Sanctuary, the » Mayordomía» organized the event whihc counted on the presence of the local priest, Pedro José González, local councillors, the Justice of the Peace, Toñi Moya, the President of the Mayorcomía, Fulgen Sánchez, the President of the Brotherhood of the Patron Saints of Calasparra, members of the Mayordomía and the Superior Council of Religious brotherhoods.
A commemorative plaque was unveiled during the event and the Rondalla performed traditional song and dance.
