The Esperanza Primary School has won a regional prize for Business Creativity.
The “Editorial Esperanza,” through which the pupils have written and illustrated small books and sold them on a stall on Friday’s market, was one of three projects selected to feature at the III Mini Market of School Businesses held yesterday in Murcia.
The project is part of the EME and EJE programmes organized by the regional Department of Promotion and the Department of Education.
Some 15% of the profits from the sales of the books has been donated to the local charity, Caritas.
