The Valentin Fiestas Commission has launched an appeal for emergency materials needed by the victims of the flash floods in Valencia.
The collection point is the Social Centre in Valentin which will be open for donations until November 29.
Here is a list of some the items needed:
Non perishable food items, items without gluten, items without lactose
Clothes: socks, new underclothes; work dungarees
Cleaning products: bleach, detergente, amonia, rubbish bags, mops, brooms, buckets, dishclothes, washing up liquid etc
Personal hygiene products: gel, shampoo and conditioner, wet wipers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, deoderant
School material: pencils, rubbers, pencil sharpeners, colouring pencils, felt tip pens, paper, exerciuse boosk, pencil cases, glue, scissors, back packs, folders etc
Others: nappies for children, pads and nappies for elderly people, toys, gloves, masks, wellington boots, insulating tape, wide sticky tape, candles, lighters, shovels, rakes, pet food etc
