Calasparra Town Hall officially presented the local gastronomic and tourist agenda at FITUR, the International Tourism Show in Madrid, on the stand of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fish and Food.
The Mayoress of Calasparra, Teresa Garcia, emphasised the quality of the products of Calasparra, which include Calasparra Rice; the wine cheese from Villa Vieja; the Cheeses of Murcia from Tio Resti; a larder of products from the canning factory, Conservas Calasparra; BIO products from Thaymin; El Joven Honey from AceAgra; Bernal onions and dried fruit «Pasion».

Pepe Vázquez, from Radio Calasparra and local television, presented Showcooking with chef, Firo Vasquez from the OIlivar restaurant in the Murcian Sierra, as part of the Gastropiasajes» Tourist Project., who prepared small patries filled with Calasparra rice with milk.
The Town Hall also presented nine videos illustrating Calasparra and featuring the Sanctuary, the Puerto Cave, the Abrigos del Pozo, the September Fiestas and bull runs and the Alamadenes Canyon.
