THOSE SALAD DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN

The ecological vegetable stall on Friday´s weekly market is back after a short break in the UK and this week we have a hoist of different lettuces, salad onions, beetroot and celery freshly picked and bursting with flavour.
The parsnips have also fattened up nicely now and the broad beans are delicious both cooked and raw. We still have some leeks and some broccoli and wonderful deep green Swiss chard with crisp white stalks. We will also have some baby carrots and giant leaf spinach.
Within weeks we will have tomatoes and cucumbers from our green house and celeriac and fennel from the garden.
There is always something new on the stall to tempt you especially now as spring has sprung the vegetables are growing fast.
We are delighted that so many English speaking residents enjoy our products and stop by on a Friday to see what is on offer. We are totally committed to totally organic, ecological methods and both our English speaking and Spanish speaking customers seen to appreciate the results. However, as always we would recommend shopping early as by midday the stall has usually sold out.
We are literally up at the crack of dawn picking the vegetables fresh for the market so the stall usually opens about 9.30am.
