Wednesday November 1 is a national holiday in Spain so expect many shops and businesses to be closed although bars and restuarants should be open.
On November 1, All Saints Day, (known as the Day of the Dead) the local cemetries are a spectacular sight as residents fill them with flowers to remember their late friends and family.
There will be a flower market in the Plaza Emilio Perez Piñero during the next few days and Calasparra Town Hall has put on a special bus service to and from the cemetry.
