Calasparra Town Hall has NOT approved a slight rise in IBI on urban and rustic properties of some 0.78%.
The supposed increase in IBI was published today in Nexonr and has turned out to be completely FALSE.
Nexonr used a previously reliable source for this information, however, will not use this source again without double checking the facts.
IBI is similar to the UK Council Tax and is collected by the local authority to cover municipal services etc. The amount paid is calculated according to the «catastral» value of the property, which is fixed and has no relation to the commercial value.
We apologise profusely for this error-
