According to the Met Office we are in for another heatwave this week with temperatures in the mid 40’s!!
The weather warning especially covers the early part of this week when the heat is likely to be torrid, especially when there is cloud cover.
It is important to remember to carry out any outside work or tasks in the early morning or late evening when the temperatures fall a little and there is no direct sun.
Also please remember to avoid alcohol, take light meals and protect yourself if you go outside. It is recommended that you drink plenty of water, wear a hat and sunglasses and avoid exposure to the sun from 2 to 6pm, the hottest hours in Calasparra.
We are also in for some torrid nights as it is predicted that temperatures may not fall below 25C . Use AC or fans to keep cool. Close blinds, curtains, windows to keep out the daytime heat.
