After two years of Covid Calasparra could finally celebrate Carnival and on Saturday night the streets were full of music, colour, creativity and a little madness!!
The fancy dress competition was as hard fought as is traditional in Calasparra with everyone pulling out the stops to make Carnival 2023 a night to remember.
First prize went to the Egyptian Espiga de Oro; second went to the Indian tribe Sun and Shade; and third went to Polinesia.
